Cold Steel's version of this sword is hand forged out of 1050 carbon steel and features a 37 7/8" long blade that's extra broad to insure maximum shearing power.

To protect the hands from enemy swords and polearms this sword has a generously sized steel guard with long qullions and side rings. The handle is long enough to accommodate a full two handed grip and is made of wood covered with leather and capped with a heavy steel pommel.

Each sword comes with a handsome leather scabbard with a brightly polished throat and chape.
