XH2099 Danish War Axe $85

Kris swords are believed to have originated in the 13^{th century on
the island of Java in the Indonesian archipelago, and migrated to the
Philippines, Malaysia, and various Southeast Asian countries. The kris
sword is very distinct in appearance with various shapes and sizes. The
blade may either be straight or wavy or a combination. The kris blade
widens near the handle with sharp pointed protrusions, which act as a
guard against an opponent. Typically, Filipino kris swords are larger and
heavier than their Indonesian counterpart. When used in combat the kris
sword is primarily a slashing weapon but has dynamic thrusting power. Our
kris swords are handmade in the Philippines in various shapes and sizes
and are constructed with L6 high carbon blades. The kris sword is an
integral part of Filipino culture, history, and tradition. (SR527) is a

SR527 Kris Sword and Dagger Set $180

The Pinute is a Filipino sword, which is long, straight, and well balanced. The (SR526) is a set of sword and dagger. It is a variation of the agricultural bolo machete and is a popular sword of the Visayan warriors of Cebu. The Visayan warriors considered a blade that had been cleaned and whitened ready for war. The design and functionality of the Filipino pinute shows a definite Spanish influence on Filipino weaponry. One major characteristic of the pinute is that the top of the blade is sharpened from the tip down the spine. These pinutes are handcrafted in the Philippines and constructed with L6 high-carbon steel blades. All the pinutes come with an intricate Abaca tree cord-wrapped scabbard.

SH2067 -- Butterfly Sword Set

The CAS Hanwei Butterfly Swords Sets feature high-carbon tempered steel blades with traditional dragon engraving. The SH2067 set features leather wrapped grips and steel guards, decorated in a dragon motif. This same motif is repeated on the fittings of the double scabbard. This set includes a wall plaque for display of the swords.

SH2293 -- Butterfly Swords (Rattan)

The CAS Hanwei Butterfly Swords Sets feature high-carbon tempered steel blades with traditional dragon engraving. The set includes a wall plaque for display of the swords. The SH2293 set features rattan wrapped grips and solid brass guards decorated in a Lotus Flower scroll pattern, repeated on the fittings of the double scabbard, which is encased in exquisitely woven rattan.

The Vaciacraft items were produced in the Philippines. They come with a carbon steel blade and heavy leather scabbard. However, the swords are, to me, a little on the heavy side and are more suited as a solo-training weapon.

CAS Iberia/Hanwei SH2261 Practical Cup-Hilt Fencing Rapier.

The fencing rapier is a match to the SH2035 Taza Cup-hilt Rapier. The rapier comes with a leather scabbard. The blade is blunted and has a flat tip for fencing. The rapier handle is wire wrapped.

MRL Scimitar

I have had this Scimitar from Museum Replicas for a some time. The sword has a full tang and the hardwood handle scales are attached to the tang by three pins. The sword has a brass guard. There is no scabbard for this sword.

MRL Scimitar $175

This is one of CAS/Hanwei's newest katana's. It is the SH6003SGF Musashi Shinken Katana. With a leather handle wrap. With a forged blade with hamon. This item will not be cataloged and will not be a regular stock item. I picked a couple of these katana's up and am able to offer them here.

When I examined one of the SH6003SGF Musashi Shinken Katana's I noticed a tear in the leather on the handle of one of them. The arrows in the pictures shows the tear. I got it replaced at a reduced price from CAS, rather than return it to them. The sword is in otherwise new condition. The handle wrap will have to be repaired or replaced. I am offering it here at a reduced price for a do-it-yourself project.

This is an unreleased model of a CAS Iberia/Hanwei Japanese officer's saber. There were a limited number of these sabers produced. The saber has a steel blade, real same on the handle and metal D guard and back strap. The scabbard has a wood core and black leather cover.
